Notes

Show Notes: Dead Larry and Gypsy Lumberjacks opening! Soap CD Release Party for "Piece by Piece"!!! Frankly y'all I've been listening to this album for a while now (a tid bit of kibitzing during the mix phase) and if it's a compliment to say I can still stand the tunes after hearing them over as hundred times then... ;-) This is a fantastic album! Personal favorite tracks: #3 "Can I Stay": This one is complicated to get right live but absolutely shines on the album. 5/4? Yes please! #5 "Runaway": This one just grooves. The harmonies on the chorus just grab me everytime along with that flow. #8 "In Your Head": This one features a sitar and has been one of my new live favs for a lil while. Another sweet groove that just picks you up and carries you with some great lyrics over the top. Get IT!! https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/piece-by-piece/id582790598

This show was truly worthy of the album it was supporting. Great playing across the board to a great crowd! Mark Ilaug, the sitar player, sat in for "In Your Head" and George Harrison's "Within You, Without You" (wonderful cover BTW!). Good time had by all. BTW this is sized for one of those awesome 1h 45m discs called "Who used CDs anymore... put this on your phone!" ;-)

Enjoy!
-Nate
